He has broken earlier record of Vince Taylor (22 wins). Currently he is retired from professional body building but he is still do his workout regularly and inspire others to exercise

Coleman is famous as big Ron in body building world. Well he is really that big and no one can become as big as Ronnie was. He has trained under Brian Dobson for his professional body building champion ship. Ronnie has done lots of weight training to get bigger and build more muscle mass. Initially he was American foot ball player and then he joined police force. Later he has started training under amateur body builder Brian Dobson.

As we have said Ronnie has tried to lift maximum weight. He doesn’t prefer machine weight but use free weights, which helps him to build big muscles. Coleman focuses on two muscle group in single day and hit the gym 6 days in a week.

Day-1- Monday: QUADS/HAMS/CALVES

  • Barbell Squats: 3 sets of 15 reps
  • Leg extension: 3 sets of 15 reps
  • Barbell hack squat: 3 sets of 20 reps
  • Single seated leg curl: 3 sets of 20 reps
  • Seated leg curls:3 sets of 20 reps
  • Standing leg curls: 3 sets of 15 curls
  • Seated calf raise: 3 sets 20 reps

 

Day 2- Tuesday: Back/triceps

3sets of 15 to 20 reps

  • Bent over barbell row
  • One-arm dumbbell row
  • Wide-grip lat pull-down
  • Lying t-bar row
  • Dip Machine

Day 3- Wednesday: shoulders

3 sets of 15 to 20 reps

  • Smith machine overhead shoulder press
  • Side lateral raise
  • Front dumbbell raise
  • Seated bent-over rear delt raise

Day 4 – Thursday: Chest/biceps

3 sets of 15 to 20 reps

  • Barbell bench press – medium grip
  • Barbell incline bench press medium-grip
  • Decline barbell bench press
  • Barbell curl
  • Alternate hammer curl

Day 5- Friday: quads/hams/calves

Ronnie Coleman is very particular about his diet. He uses protein rich diet to make bigger muscles and gain strength. Coleman use interval diet program to get constant supply of energy. His power comes from beaf, egg whites, chicken, vegetables, rice and juices. Coleman also take supplements of protein, fat, crabs, omega and fatty acids.

Ronnie has multiple surgeries over his career. Currently he is unable to walk due to back surgery. According to Ronnie his not able to walk due to its genetics as his elders too are not able to walk during old age, even though he hits the gym every other day.
